ABOUT THIS WEBINAR

You don't have to figure this out alone

Whether you're just beginning to explore perinatal mental health work or you've been in it for years, one thing is true: the clinical, cultural, and emotional complexity of supporting Black women and families through the perinatal period is not something most training programs prepare you for.

This free webinar is a space to get grounded, to learn practical tools, ask real questions, and connect with a community of clinicians who are doing this work and want to do it well — sustainably, culturally responsively, and with confidence.

This is not another lecture. This is a conversation designed to meet you where you are.

WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE WITH

Learning Objectives

Identify at least three culturally specific risk factors impacting perinatal mental health outcomes for Black women and families

1

Apply a culturally responsive framework when conducting perinatal mental health assessments with Black women clients

2

Describe strategies for building a sustainable clinical practice specializing in perinatal mental health care

3

Demonstrate increased confidence in case conceptualization for Black perinatal clients using a systemic and context-informed lens
