We know motherhood is tough, and asking for help takes courage. You are not alone. We are here for every part of your journey, offering judgement-free support designed specifically for Black moms and families.

Together, We Got This!

Raising Resilience was made for us, by us. Our own experiences — navigating motherhood, questioning it, and everything in between — inspired us to build a community that genuinely supports those often overlooked. The ones who are told to be strong and push through. The ones who care for everyone else and sometimes feel forgotten.

We get it because we have lived it. As Black women, we understand the unique challenges you face. As therapists, we are here for you every step of the way — from thinking about whether motherhood is right for you, to fertility challenges, pregnancy, loss, postpartum, and beyond.

We are breaking the silence and embracing the strength to ask for help. It is time to show up for ourselves — and we are here to help you do exactly that.

Real Stories from Real Parents

“I always thought if I experienced postpartum depression during my first pregnancy, I would have it during my second pregnancy. Raising Resilience helped me work through that fear, and now I feel more prepared to have another baby.”

B.S.

“After therapy, I can talk about my daughter and how her loss impacts me, but the love I still have for her lives in me.”

B.A.

“We struggled in our marriage after having our first child. I didn’t think we were going to make it, but couples therapy helped us see that no matter how happy we were to be parents, it was still a stressor, and we needed tools to work through that.”

T.J.
