How do I schedule my first therapy session?
You can complete our referral form under our referral tab. Referrals are contacted between 24-48 hours upon being submitted.
Do you provide tele-therapy/virtual sessions currently due to the pandemic?
Yes, we currently provide tele-therapy sessions to all our clients due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Do you all only work with perinatal clients? (i.e pregnant and postpartum)
We offer a wide array of mental health services to women and families. We hold certifications in perinatal mental health, trauma, grief, and women’s mental health.
Who is your ideal client?
Our ideal client is women ranging from ages 14-65
Do I need a referral to begin therapy?
You do not need a referral from your primary care doctor or OB-GYN to receive services.
How will therapy benefit me?

What is a perinatal mental health therapist?
A perinatal mental health therapist is trained in working with women and families who are pregnant and/or given birth within the past 12 months. This also includes women who may have experienced any pregnancy/infant losses.
Can I schedule a consultation call prior to beginning therapy?
Yes, although not required, consultation calls are made to ensure that clients and therapists are a good fit. You have the right to choose what is best for you on your therapeutic journey and we like to ensure that our therapists can meet your specific needs.
How do I know if my insurance is accepted and do you all accept self pay?
Our therapists are in network with most major insurance plans including BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care and Medicaid. We also accept EAP options.
You are responsible for co-pays or deductible amounts at the time of service. Please call and check your benefits prior to your appointment.
We accept self pay and clients. Self pay clients are allowed to pay for their therapy out of pocked based upon our rates. Rates are discussed prior to intake being scheduled.
What is a sliding scale?
Sliding-scale is simply therapy offered for sliding-scale fees based on a person's income. If you are uninsured or chose not use your insurance we sliding scale options that can be discussed prior to becoming your sessions.
How long are sessions?
Therapy sessions range from 45-60 minutes.
Phone consultations are 15 minutes. A fee is charged if consults go over the 15 minute increment.
What are your late/cancellation policies?
Clients more than 15 minutes late to scheduled sessions will have to reschedule the following week. Once a client has 3 late sessions, a required meeting will be held to discuss continuing therapy. Client must cancel within 24 hours of their scheduled session. A fee will be charged after your second cancelation with no prior notice.
Are my sessions confidential?
Confidentiality is one of the most important components between a client and therapist. A successful process requires a high degree of trust with highly sensitive subject matter that is usually not discussed anywhere but in your sessions. Every therapist should provide a written copy of their confidential disclosure agreement, and you can expect that what you discuss in session will not be shared with anyone. This is called “Informed Consent”. Sometimes, however, you may want your therapist to share information or give an update to someone on your healthcare team, but by law your therapist cannot release this information without obtaining your written permission other than for safety reasons.
Is there a timeframe for when I should finish therapy?
You and your assigned therapist will create a treatment plan with goals that you can work towards. This treatment plan allows the client to be in control of their treatment and the rate they are moving along in their therapy journey and sessions.
